About Me

Dave Hannibal is the Base Manager at Grayback Forestry Inc. John Day base of operations, one of the largest private forest worker/firefighting firms in the Northwest, where he oversees 40-60 forest workers and up to 80-100 wildland firefighters.  Dave has worked in forest management-related positions since 1980, including as a tree climber, sawyer, tree planter, firefighter, and burn boss, and has held prestigious positions on local, regional, and national associations, foundations, and incident management teams.  He has been with the Blue Mountains Forest Partners since 2007, and serves on the Board of Directors.
